How many times have you wished that your body could tell you about the problem it's experiencing? An advanced system within chiropractic called Applied Kinesiology uses the muscle system to signal problems not only in the muscles themselves, but the spinal, organ and acupuncture meridian systems as well.

Once the body demonstrates what is interfering with it's normal functioning, this block is removed using a variety of methods including chiropractic adjustment ( a method of removing interference with the nervous system), lymphatic massage, acupressure, cranial manipulation ,neuroemotional technique and other methods. When the blockage is removed, differences in the strength and balance of the muscle system become immediately evident as the body restores it's own balance. This provides both of us with valuable feedback, showing whether the necessary steps have been taken to restore your body's equilibrium.

I have completed extensive post graduate studies in pediatrics. Many people are not yet aware of the benefits children and infants can derive from chiropractic care. Some common childhood problems such as ear infections, bedwetting, coordination problems, certain learning disabilities and "growing pains" can be helped through chiropractic care. We also specialize in food allergy testing to determine if infants are digesting properly. When the nursing mother changes her diet, the infant's symptoms will often resolve.

Pre and Post natal care for pregnant women is an important aspect of chiropratic care. The spine endures many stresses during pregnancy. Chiropractic care can help shorten labor and delivery time, provide proper nervous transmission to the structures supporting the fetus and reduce some of the aches and pains of pregnancy.

Athletes respond well to treatment with Applied Kinesiology. When you balance the musculature the body performs better.  Many athletes choose to come for treatments just before competitions as they report their performance is enhanced by the spinal and muscular reintegration.
